Full Job Description

  • Gain practical experience in data analysis, wind farm operations, costing, project management and internal systems.
  • Analyse data relating to stopped turbines to support operational decision-making.
  • Help develop a maintenance plan for SOV troubleshooting activities and the next project.
  • Support the team with day-to-day engineering and operational activities.
  • Contribute to engineering projects at the Greater Gabbard Offshore Windfarm.
  • Gain practical offshore experience by supporting projects at sea., Please refer to the UK Government's National Security Vetting guidance for further details and eligibility requirements.

    • This position is aimed at those currently studying who are eligible for a Year in Industry Placement. For those who will be graduating Summer 2027 we encourage you to apply for our graduate programme which will be advertised in January 2027. An offer of employment in this role may require holding active or ability to pass National Security vetting to SC level. Failure to obtain and or maintain National Security Vetting to SC may result in the removal of job offers and or existing employment.

  • Ongoing studies in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Eligibility to complete a year in industry placement as part of the degree programme.
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate workloads independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Confidence working in a diverse team environment and engaging with a range of stakeholders.

  • A minimum of five years' residence in the UK due to the potential requirement for National Security Vetting.
