We're on the lookout for a Yard Operative/Relief HGV Driver to support our team at Queensferry. This is a varied and active role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being part of a practical team, and helping customers get exactly what they need to get the job done. What you'll be doing: As a Yard Operative/Relief HGV Driver, you'll play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the yard. Here's what the job involves:
- Providing a friendly, knowledgeable service to customers in the yard
- Safely receiving and organising deliveries - keeping the yard tidy and secure
- Supporting with vehicle loading/unloading - helping the team get deliveries out on time
- Making occasional local deliveries - when cover is needed (e.g. holidays or absences)
- Being vigilant about stock security and safety procedures
