St. Michael's Catholic Primary school is a growing, rural primary school with nursery in the village of Esh, County Durham. We are proud to be part of the Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, a family of secondary, middle, primary and first schools in Durham, Gateshead, Northumberland and Sunderland. Bishop Wilkinson is the largest catholic education trust in the North East of England and will have a total of 48 schools. This is an exciting time to join our supportive, and growing team.
We are seeking an individual to:
- To provide a high standard of care for children in wraparound provision (after school).
- To work as part of a team to provide and maintain an enabling, stimulating, safe environment.
- To build and maintain a strong working partnership with parents and carers.
- To ensure the wrap around provision is run to meet the needs of the children and complies with all necessary compliance legislation and policies.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum of Grade C Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
- An understanding of the needs of children.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Good organisation skills.
