Workstream Analyst

The Workstream Analyst will work closely with Workstream Leads, subject matter experts, business stakeholders and delivery partners to analyse business challenges, develop recommendations, coordinate delivery activities and support the successful implementation of change. Analysts may support multiple workstreams simultaneously, depending on programme priorities and business needs. What you will be doing as Transformation Workstream Analyst Analysis and Workstream Delivery Support

• Support current-state assessments across processes, operating models, controls, systems, data and organisational structures.
• Gather, structure and document information, requirements, assumptions and recommendations from workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Develop high-quality workstream artefacts, including presentations, reports, decision papers and supporting analysis.
• Support the design and development of future-state processes, operating models, governance arrangements and business solutions.
Problem Solving and Insight
• Analyse qualitative and quantitative information from multiple sources to identify trends, issues, opportunities and improvement areas.
• Support root cause analysis and problem-solving activities across workstreams.
• Assess business impacts, risks, dependencies and implementation considerations.
• Develop evidence-based recommendations to support decision-making.
• Present complex information clearly and concisely for operational and senior stakeholders.
Governance and Programme Support
• Support workstream planning, milestone tracking and delivery activities.
• Maintain action, risk, issue, assumption and dependency logs and proactively identify mitigations and escalation of critical items.
• Prepare materials for governance forums, workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Track progress against agreed deliverables and support benefits realisation activities.
• Provide analytical support to the Workstream Lead and programme governance forums.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
• Build effective working relationships with business stakeholders, subject matter experts and delivery partners.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and working sessions to gather information and align stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively across multiple transformation workstreams to identify and manage interdependencies.
• Support and challenge change impact assessments, readiness plans and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Support communication, change and adoption activities where required.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative and outcome-focused team environment.
Data and Analytical Support
• Support data gathering, validation and analysis activities required by the workstream.
• Assist in developing metrics, reporting and insights to support programme objectives.
• Ensure analysis and reporting outputs are accurate, complete and fit for purpose.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to support informed decision-making.
  
  In-depth post-qualification experience in transformation, consulting, programme delivery, business improvement or finance transformation
• Experience producing high-quality presentations, reports and structured documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.
• Experience gathering, analysing and synthesising information from multiple sources.
• Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with stakeholders at different levels of an organisation
• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant, or equivalent relevant experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences
• Strong attention to detail, prioritisation and time management, resilient under pressure
• Comfortable working in matrix teams and liaising with senior stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Desirable
• Experience working on finance transformation programmes
• Experience with reporting and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI), process mapping tools (e.g. Visio) and workshop facilitation techniques.
• Understanding of finance processes, controls and governance. e.g. R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A
• Experience supporting organisational change initiatives.
• Experience working alongside consulting firms or third-party delivery partners.
• Exposure to ERP, EPM, reporting or technology-enabled transformation programmes.
• Experience with workshop facilitation

• Competitive salary of up to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
