Full Job Description
As a Workshop Team Manager, you'll be at the centre of workshop performance, helping to ensure operations run safely, efficiently and effectively. This is a varied leadership role where you'll use data, operational insight and problem-solving skills to drive productivity, support compliance and champion continuous improvement initiatives. Day-to-day you'll be required to:
- Analyse operational performance data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate workshop activities to support safe, efficient and planned delivery of work.
- Lead safety, compliance and audit activities to maintain operational standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, productivity and performance.
- Collaborate with supervisors and stakeholders to resolve issues and support operational success. The role is based onsite at Bovington, and the set working times are Monday to Thursday, totalling 37 hours per week. Essential experience of the Workshop Team Manager:
- Working with data analysis and reporting tools, including Microsoft Excel.
- Working in a supervisory or people leadership position.
- Monitoring operational performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver business objectives.
- Experience supporting compliance, safety or quality-focused activities within an operational environment.
Educated to Level 2 in the National Qualification Framework, including Intermediate Apprenticeship, Level 2 NVQ, GCSE Grade A to C, O Level A to C, CSE Grade 1, or equivalent workplace experience., The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
