Full Job Description
A vacancy has arisen for a Workshop Controller. Candidates will need to have a good awareness of the latest vehicle technologies, a forward-thinking approach to the business and the ability to lead the change to electronic maintenance systems. The main duties of the post are:
- Allocation and prioritising of work
- Ensuring all maintenance is carried out correctly, on time and within budget
- Maximising the utilisation and availability of vehicles and colleagues
- Stores supervision, health and safety management and liaison with contractors
- Effective utilisation of computer-based management systems
Excellent management skills - At least two years supervisory experience in an engineering environment
- NVQ level 3 qualification or time served apprenticeship
- Current valid PCV licence
- A thorough knowledge of Go-Ahead London Engineering Procedures
- Membership of an appropriate institute is desirable
- Good IT literacy
