Work Experience: Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO)

Placements are one week in duration and based at Safran Landing Systems in Gloucester. We are only able to support work experience placements between March and August 2027. Join our work experience programme and gain valuable insight into careers within the aerospace industry while working alongside experienced professionals. During your placement, you will see first-hand how different teams contribute to the success of a global organisation. What will you experience? Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) Gain an insight into how aircraft landing gear is maintained, repaired and overhauled to ensure it remains safe and reliable throughout its service life. Learn about inspection processes, engineering techniques, workshop activities and the importance of quality and safety standards within the aerospace industry. You will develop valuable workplace skills including problem-solving, teamwork, communication and attention to detail while working alongside experienced engineers and technicians. But what else?
