Full Job Description

You will recruit and complete contractual sign up for new apprenticeship learners and generate new local/ regional business relationships to increase work-based learning activities and to maintain assessor caseloads. You will maintain learner compliance in relation to WG contractual documentation. You will be responsible for liaising with stakeholders to review learner progress and support learner needs and work under the direction of the coordinator for the area of expertise. Develop and deliver all work-based learning induction activities in line with Welsh Government, Skills Academy Wales and Coleg y Cymoedd Requirements., All staff employed at Coleg y Cymoedd have a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of learners, and all those working at the College are expected to uphold this commitment. As part of our safer recruitment processes, all new starters must successfully complete the required pre-employment checks prior to commencing employment. This includes an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. For roles that involve direct interaction with learners, registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is also a mandatory requirement.
