We're investing £250,000 in the Windsor Hotel in Penarth, South Wales in early 2027 and are looking for an operator to run this pub on a self-employed partnership agreement. Our Grandstand pubs are built for people who live and breathe live sport. Featuring huge screens, top-tier entertainment, great food and drink, and an unbeatable atmosphere, we don't just show sport, we live it. From matchdays to live music and major sporting occasions, Grandstand pubs bring local communities and fans together, creating the perfect environment for your next partnership opportunity. Located in the sought-after town of Penarth, just minutes from the town centre, The Windsor sits proudly at the heart of a thriving local community. Already benefiting from a strong and loyal customer base, the pub is now preparing for a significant investment that will take the offer to the next level.

A key part of the transformation will be the introduction of a brand-new kitchen, enabling the pub to serve our award-winning food menu for the first time. From classic pub favourites to fast, crowd-pleasing dishes designed for matchdays, this enhanced food offer will complement an already successful wet-led business and create exciting opportunities for future growth.

We're looking for an ambitious and experienced Pub Partner who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You'll have a genuine passion for sport, proven experience in food-led hospitality, and the commercial mindset to maximise every opportunity. Experience operating a branded food offer would be a distinct advantage.

As the face of The Windsor, you'll be responsible for building a thriving local business, developing and leading a high-performing team, and creating an atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Whether it's a packed matchday, a live entertainment event, or a busy weekend service, you'll know how to deliver exceptional hospitality and make The Windsor the first choice in the community.

What's in it for you?

• 22% share of weekly sales (excluding VAT) plus a guaranteed annual retained sum of £25K (released weekly)
• Low ingoing costs, deposits starting from £5,000 and £360 legal cost. (

• Accommodation included with most bills covered, except the council tax & TV License (
• a fee may be payable for some services such as garden maintenance)
• As part of our application process, we may use Lily, an AI-powered interviewing assistant to support the early stages of screening. Lily helps us move quickly, keep things flexible for you, and create a more consistent candidate experience, but one thing you should know - all hiring decisions are still made by our people.
