We are looking for engineers with an interest in infrastructure storage engineering. You will be an integral part of a global infrastructure team, providing follow the sun support to Visa's systems.

This position will support, certify, and document storage and backup infrastructure, as well as serve as a Level 2 escalation point for existing infrastructure. This position expected to interact with Systems, Database, Engineering, Asset Management, Product Development, Operations, Audit and Risk, and various groups within Technology. Responsible for complex provisioning, advanced maintenance, data replication, disaster recovery, data migration and documentation for our Open Systems Storage and Backup environments.

• Demonstrate a high level of technical expertise to support complex Storage & Backup devices, including SAN, NAS and Backup solutions across all tiers, under minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work on shift days (Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00AM to 6:00PM local time).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field is preferred.
• This is associate level role 0,5- 3,5 years of commercial experience.
• Experience with UNIX (Linux, AIX, Solaris), VMware or other hypervisors, and Windows operating environments.
• Monitoring, Tuning, Troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Strong organization and analysis skills.
• Strong focus on quality and customer service.
• Experience of working in an infrastructure support role and/or a keen interest in learning the role of an infrastructure support engineer in the storage realm.
• An interest in scripting / coding for infrastructure automation.
