  • Respond to emergencies such as fires, road traffic collisions, floods and rescues
  • Work in communities to help prevent emergencies and reduce risk
  • Provide safety advice
  • Support vulnerable people to stay safe and independent
  • Work closely with other emergency services and partner organisations
  • This role is physically and mentally demanding. You will work in challenging environments and may attend distressing or traumatic incidents. You will be trained and supported to deal with these situations as part of a professional team.   • You do not need to upload a CV or cover letter
  • After training, you will be assigned to a fire station anywhere across Hampshire or the Isle of Wight, based on service need, We are a Disability Confident Employer - committed to ensuring that our recruitment and selection process is inclusive and accessible.

    Important: After completing your training, you will be assigned to a Fire Station based on operational need. This could be at any station across Hampshire or the Isle of Wight. You must be willing and able to travel across the whole area, Work effectively as part of a team
