A new and exciting opportunity has arose to join a new cross-sector initiative focussed on improving outcomes for children and young people. The Wellbeing Coordinator will play a central role in bringing partners together across organisational boundaries to support the emotional wellbeing needs of the children and young people, particularly those with complex circumstances. We have x1 Wellbeing Coordinator position available, based in the local authority locality teams; Bridgend. A professional registration is not required for this position Th successful applicant will facilitate a multi-agency wellbeing panel that brings together professionals from health, education, local authority and other key services. Promote integrated, collaborative working and maintain strong relationships across the services in a bid to reduce inequalities and strengthen pathways for the children and young people with more complex needs. This new role will ensure high quality information sharing, decision making and follow up actions to champion the child-centred approach that improves experiences and outcomes for the children young people and families in our community., The single point of access for children's emotional wellbeing (SPACE-Wellbeing) is a process for children and young people with mental health and emotional wellbeing concerns, where a multi-disciplinary team will make decisions on provision for children, young people and their families to access the right support, first time, from the right person. The co-ordinator will provide a proactive, comprehensive administrative and clerical support function to the locality-based multi-disciplinary/agency team. Working within the Local Authority areas of Cwm Taf Morgannwg (Bridgend) the SPACE-Wellbeing co-ordinator will be a pivotal and central role in ensuring effective integrated working in their locality area. Will often be the first point of contact for referrers, other professionals, families/carers and other members of the child/young person's network and will elicit further information about the family's needs and about what is important to the family where referral information is limited., Applicants who are not UK or Republic of Ireland nationals will require sponsorship to obtain either a Health and Care Visa or a Skilled Worker Visa unless they already hold permission to work via another route. For eligible candidates, the Health and Care Visa offers reduced application costs and exempts payment of the annual Immigration Health Surcharge.
