Full Job Description
Introduction
The apprentice will be working within our fabrication department,
making parts for the automotive industry for customers such as
JLR, Honda, and more.

ASG has a team of around 120 employees across our factory and
office. With shifts running across morning, afternoon and night.
What You'll Do
- Reading engineering drawings.
- Setting machinery such as presses and lasers.
- Producing parts to specific quality standards.
The apprentice will start with reviewing the daily tasks alongside
the team leader/supervisor. They will then get machinery set-up
ready to process parts and then operate said machinery. There will
also be occasions when they will work alongside our
R&D/engineering department on development for upcoming
projects.
Training Outcome
Further development into engineering specific roles or job setter.

- Essential - GCSE - English - E/2 or above
- Essential - GCSE - Mathematics - E/2 or above
