Welder/Fabricator (Temp to Perm)
The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Newton Aycliffe.
The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding a range of steel components and assemblies to engineering drawings and customer specifications, ensuring work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
MIG welding and fabrication of structural steel and bespoke metalwork.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials accurately.
Working independently and as part of a production team to meet deadlines.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Welder/Fabricator within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strong MIG welding skills (other welding processes advantageous).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience working with mild steel and structural steel components.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.
Relevant welding qualifications are desirable but not essential.
