Youll be fabricating and welding to tight tolerances, working on diverse small-batch projects that demand quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Your work will directly contribute to high-spec products built to strict industry standards.Commutable from Birmingham, Walsall, Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield, Aldridge, Tamworth, Atherstone, Little Aston, Streetly, Great Barr, Fradley, Burntwood and CannockKEY RESPONSIBILIITESFabricating and welding a variety of metal components (not just repetitive jig work)Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprintsPerforming MIG and TIG welding to a high standardWorking to exact tolerances using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring toolsSafely operating lifting and rigging equipment (cranes, etc.)Maintaining a clean, organised, and safety-first workspaceREQUIREMENTSProven experience in fabrication and welding within a fast-paced environmentStrong MIG and / or TIG welding skillsAbility to confidently read and work from
technical drawingsCompetence with measuring equipment, hand tools, and power toolsSolid mechanical aptitude and good maths skillsForklift or material handling experience (advantageous training available)Important RequirementDue to the nature of our work with the Ministry of Defence, this role is open to British Nationals only.What are you waiting for?
