Welcome & Service Team Member - Liverpool

Working Pattern: You will work according to a two-week rota. In Week 1, you will work 3 days and in Week 2, you will work 4 days. Shifts are from 9am-5pm (including a lunch break). Weekend and Bank Holiday working is required. What it's like to work here With over 1.1 million visitors annually, this dynamic, highly designated and much-loved coastal site is not without its challenges. We're looking in detail at how we best care for the nationally and internationally important dune system, the woodland, and rare species such as sand lizard, natterjack toad and red squirrel, as well as the cultural history of this special place. Joining the Welcome Team at National Trust Formby, you'll report to the Welcome Manager and be part of a friendly, supportive team who take pride in greeting every visitor with warmth and enthusiasm. What you'll be doing Our work revolves around creating great experiences, answering questions, assisting with requests, and making sure every visitor has the information they need to enjoy their day. Providing a warm welcome and sharing information, you'll help visitors make the most of their day. You'll be promoting membership and supporting fundraising efforts, inspiring visitors to get more involved or donate. The role involves being on your feet for much of the day, carrying out light physical tasks and manual handling. Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide. Salary: 13.25 per hour Contract Duration: Fixed term until 3rd October 2026 Working Hours: The hours advertised for this role is reflective of 12 months, however the actual hours you'll be required to work for this role are 345 hours across the term of your contract.
