Reporting to the Senior Collections & House Officer , you'll be part of a team of predominately volunteers working at Tudor Merchant's House, Tenby in the Pembrokeshire portfolio. Tudor Merchant's House is a narrow town house which was once lived in by a local merchant in Tenby. The Tudor Merchant's house is typical of the type of prosperous merchant's house which sprang up when Tenby was a thriving port in the late Middle Ages. The house is laid out as a wealthy merchant may have lived with his family . What you'll be doing Day to day, you'll be responsible for cleaning and preparing the house for visitors. You will deliver a great all-round customer experience. Welcoming visitors at admission, scanning membership cards and taking payments. You will also guide visitors around and provide history on the house and Tenby, making sure they have an enjoyable time and safe visit. Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide. This role would suit anyone with a passion for delivering great customer service. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. You'll deliver high standards of presentation at the property. Motivated by achieving targets, you'll actively promote ways to support the Trust such as promoting membership and all of its benefits to visitors

Salary: 13.25 per hour Contract Duration: Fixed term until 31st December 2026 Working Hours/Pattern: This is a zero-hour contract, meaning we can't guarantee a set number of hours each week. While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We'll try to give as much notice as possible. The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays but does not require evening or split shifts.
