About the Role:

Join Sodexo as a Cleaning Operative at Mars Wrigley in Slough, where you'll play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the GMP manufacturing area. Working to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and established procedures, you'll help ensure the factory environment meets hygiene, food safety, health, and safety standards.

You'll need a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach, and a willingness to follow stringent procedures and timelines. Full training will be provided to help you understand the required processes and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness within your assigned areas


• Follow relevant work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)


• Carry out regular checks of cleaning equipment and machinery and report any faults or defects


• Follow GMP, hygiene, food safety, and Health & Safety procedures


• Report hazards and potential dangers to your supervisor


• Follow internal operating procedures and strict GMP requirements


• Work effectively with Mars associates, colleagues, supervisors, and suppliers


• Attend training sessions and develop your knowledge and skills


• Communicate daily with members of the cleaning team, other staff, and customers


• Work proactively to support the wider Sodexo Facilities Management team


• Ensure company, client, and statutory requirements are followed


• Use PPE as directed and in line with working instructions and procedures


• Work towards agreed targets and standards

Skills and Experience:

• A strong eye for detail


• Good communication skills


• Experience in a customer service or customer-facing environment


• The ability to follow strict procedures and timelines


• A willingness to work in isolated areas where required


• The ability to follow stringent GMP dress codes and PPE requirements


• A strong team-working approach and 'can-do' attitude


• A proactive and intuitive approach to work


• High standards of integrity


• The ability to work towards and achieve set targets


• A willingness to learn and complete all required training
