This role supports improvements to the Slough Borough Council website, ensuring it remains relevant and customerâfocused. As Website Content Officer, you will manage content change requests across all departments, review and maintain content in plain English that is accurate, accessible, and relevant, and help shape the overall website design. The role ensures digital accessibility and inclusion by adapting content to make council platforms accessible and escalating significant issues to the Senior Digital Experience and Accessibility Officer. The core aspect of the role is updating the website, using recognised best practice skills in line with , the , and quality proofreading with reference to style guides. Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1st April each year, subject to six months service in the post, until the maximum spinal column point of the level has been reached.
