Full Job Description
A Web Designer working within this organisation will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites that reflect the company's brand identity and commercial objectives. The role involves creating modern layouts, intuitive user interfaces, and engaging digital experiences across desktop and mobile platforms. The Web Designer will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional website designs, ensuring consistency with the company's services and target audience. The position requires strong technical and creative skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Figma. The Web Designer will manage website updates, optimise site performance, and ensure SEO best practices are implemented to improve visibility and user engagement. Responsibilities also include testing and troubleshooting website issues, maintaining website security standards, and integrating third-party tools or plugins where necessary to enhance functionality. In addition, the Web Designer will contribute to ongoing digital strategy by analysing user behaviour, improving website usability, and supporting marketing initiatives through landing pages, banners, and promotional content. The role demands attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a proactive approach to keeping up with the latest design trends and technologies. The position requires a minimum of 37.5 working hours per week, with a competitive salary aligned to industry standards.
