Water Technical Manager

We are seeking a Water Technical Manager to take strategic responsibility for ensuring water delivery is maintained to the highest standards against governance arrangements, assurance frameworks, and regulatory and statutory expectations. This role is accountable for the overall water delivery service and provides reporting and updates to senior management., We are looking for an experienced professional to act as the figurehead for water delivery, ensuring safe, compliant, and consistent service delivery across the regional portfolio. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, support client satisfaction, and maintain accountability for performance, financial management, and contractual obligations.,

• Promote and ensure the highest levels of health, safety, and compliance are achieved.
• Engage with senior managers across the business and represent KAN as the figurehead of water delivery.
• Attend meetings as requested by the PE Water team or Director of Assurance.
• Support account leadership in delivering high levels of client satisfaction and consistent service delivery.
• Champion the OneISS Way, including safe systems of work and the assurance framework via OPT.
• Ensure the efficient and consistent operation of all water engineering and risk assessment activities to meet contractual obligations across the regional portfolio.
• Support and originate technical service initiatives focused on cost savings, consistency, and risk management.
• Maintain financial management responsibility for KAN Water service delivery and accountability for KPI, SLA, and overall water delivery performance.
  
  Proven self-starter with a consistent track record of delivering against outcome specifications.
• Proven experience operating in a similar role and environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Strong commercial understanding of engineering contracts.
• Strong people management, planning and organising, influencing and persuasion, and customer focus skills.
• Full professional membership of at least two appropriate professional bodies, including but not limited to Water Management Society, CIPHE, or IHEEM.
• Extensive experience working within a multi-disciplinary technical environment, including cooling systems, mechanical condensers, and complex water systems/processes.
• Relevant certification demonstrating competence in cooling systems, mechanical condensers, and complex water systems/processes.
• Full UK driving licence essential.
