Description
As a Water Pressure Tester, you will test, chlorinate and commission water infrastructure. Working to a high standard and codes of best practice, you will ensure that all work is undertaken to a high standard of safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- You will have a full and comprehensive understanding of, chlorinating and sampling procedures
- You will ensure vehicles, plant and equipment remain clean, in good condition, and report any defects to the Project Manager
- You will identify at an early stage all contract variations and report to the Project Manager and work in accordance with the company Variation and Deviations Procedure
- You will complete site-specific risk assessments daily and ensure maintenance of a safe working environment
- You will attend "toolbox talks" and other training courses as required
- You will record accurately details of work undertaken
- You will submit relevant work details for recording in the required timescale
- You will collect and deliver water samples to approved locations within the relevant timescales
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience of chlorinating and testing of mains from a diameter of 63mm to 355mm
- NRSWA certificate for operatives
- EUSR Water Hygiene
- EUSR SHEA Water
- Experience of Water Mains Testing, Chlorinating and Sampling
- Full valid driving licence
- Disinfection of Water Mains Qualification
