Water Network Team Leader

Clancy is looking to recruit a permanent Water Network Team Leader to support our clean water operations across the Devon and Cornwall region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a practical, hands-on position working outdoors and is comfortable operating in all weather conditions., As a Water Network Team Leader, you will take responsibility for leading a team and ensuring high-quality delivery of water network works, while maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards at all times. Here are some of the daily activities you'll be involved with:

• Locating and repairing mains water defects
• Checking equipment and systems to ensure they are fit for use, maintained, and fully operational
• Carrying out risk assessments and maintaining safe working practices
• Ensuring strict adherence to all Clancy Group health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Acting as a mentor and coach to less experienced colleagues
  
  You have previous experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor, with a strong all-round knowledge and understanding of the construction and water industry. You will be confident leading a team, managing day-to-day operations, and mentoring colleagues.
A full, clean driving licence is essential, and an NRSWA qualification is highly desirable. You should have experience in underground service detection using tools such as CAT and Genny, alongside a strong awareness of health and safety practices. Experience with main laying and knowledge of techniques such as Open Cut, Pipe Bursting, Slip Lining, or Directional Drilling would be highly advantageous. While a CSCS card or equivalent is desirable, experience operating machinery such as diggers or excavators is also valuable.
