Watch Manager

The Service has a permanent Watch Manager vacancy for Culture and People Improvement and Lead Speak Up Guardian., Expressions of interest are invited from suitably experienced and qualified Crew Managers and Watch Managers. Eligible applicants will need to meet the following criteria as a minimum:

• Be a substantive Watch Manager or Crew Manager that has been successful in all areas of the Watch Manager Promotion Board
• Not subject to formal performance improvement actions, nor have any live disciplinary sanctions.
  
  This post is based at Service Headquarters, however there will be flexibility for a hybrid approach to be able to work from home or other suitable Service location.
  
  Fire and Rescue Authority roles are listed in Schedule 1 of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order and as such it is our policy to require all applicants to disclose any criminal convictions (both spent and unspent) including driving offences, cautions and/or reprimands.
