Join to apply for the Wastewater Field Engineer role at Southern Water 3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Join to apply for the Wastewater Field Engineer role at Southern Water Closing Date 04/09/2025 Job Title: Wastewater Field Engineer Location: 1 x Kent 1 X Sussex and 1 x Hampshire - Travel across sites Salary: up to £42,000 depending on skills and experience About The Role We're looking for a skilled and motivated Wastewater Field Engineer to join our team and lead the delivery of sewer lining and infiltration reduction works across multiple catchments. This is a hands-on role where you'll supervise site activities, adapt designs in real-time, and work closely with contractors, customers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes. You'll also support the Project Manager with commercial oversight and programme deliverables and collaborate across teams to ensure data and documentation are accurately captured. Responsibilities Will Include

Supervise day-to-day site operations and contractor activities
Implement dynamic design changes based on site conditions
Liaise with customers, Highways Authorities, and internal stakeholders
Support commercial management and programme reporting
Assist with contract documentation and supplier pricing
Coordinate with Operations and Asset Management teams
Prior experience working with sewer networks
Stakeholder Management
Driving Licence
Understanding of Contractor Management
Understanding that there will be possible out-of-hours working to attend meetings with external stakeholders
