Waste & Recycling Supervisor

This is a great opportunity to supervise a team that are providing one of the most important services to Powys residents. Waste and Recycling is collected from every resident, and in Powys we are one of the best performing Councils in Wales, which as a country is second in the world for recycling! If it wasn't for effective supervision and teamwork, we could never achieve this.

About you:
You must hold a full driving license.
You must be able to manage and co-ordinate the day-to-day operations of a large team.
You must be committed to support the waste and recycling Manager.
Be able to provide effective leadership and be able to ensure staff have positive team principals of trust and motivation.
Work to tight deadlines.
Willingness to undertake any appropriate training in relation to improving the service needs.
