If you want stable employment, a great team spirit and a role where your work truly matters, we want to hear from you! What You'll Be Doing As part of a professional collection crew, you will:

  • Collect household, recycling and garden waste across the district
  • Work as part of a supportive team to complete daily routes safely and efficiently
  • Handle a range of containers including wheeled bins, sacks and commercial bins
  • Help ensure vehicles and equipment are clean, safe and well maintained
  • Deliver a courteous, helpful service to residents and local businesses
  • This is an active, physical role - you'll be on your feet and moving throughout the day - and you'll finish each shift knowing you've made a tangible difference in keeping your community clean, safe and running smoothly.

    We're not just looking for experience - we're looking for the right attitude. Experience in waste collection or similar outdoor work is helpful, but not essential, as full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be:
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors all year round
  • Motivated, reliable, and team-focused with a strong work ethic.
  • Safety-conscious and aware of your surroundings
