Job Summary
This position is responsible for the administration of the HDMC warranty policy across multiple markets through the processing of incoming warranty claims within existing guidelines. Additionally, this role provides expertise in warranty support within the region, offering advice, support, and training to markets and dealers as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Process or acknowledge all inbound warranty claims within 48 hours.
- Assist dealers in working within warranty policy to eliminate abuse of the program.
- Assist field sales managers (FSM) & technical service teams (TSR) in administering any goodwill measures.
- Provide relevant management reports for leadership and field teams as needed.
- Conduct warranty audits within the dealer network to ensure compliance; train and coach dealers when errors are found; report abuse to supervisor.
- Work with the region to improve warranty and recall processes.
- Develop and implement process improvements for warranty reporting and processing.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience Requirements
- Fluent in English.
- Minimum of 2 years previous general warranty experience.
- Experience working within the automotive industry at distributor, market, or retail level.
- Experience in auditing processes, recommending, and implementing process improvements.
- Experience creating training programs for dealer networks (preferred but not essential).
- Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution module.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP, and mainframe databases.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong time-management and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- High attention to detail and ability to work within guidelines.
- Proven success in similar roles or industries.
Preferred qualifications include mechanical engineering knowledge, understanding of warranty processing within SAP, and fluency in another language.
