Full Job Description
- Administration tasks such as printing off delivery notes, booking courier shipments and updating spreadsheets
- Ensure all company procedures are followed to drive efficiency and enhance Customer satisfaction
- Ensure all H & S procedures are followed, and any discrepancies are reported to the Line Manager This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of physical work, takes pride in accuracy, and understands the importance of maintaining a safe and well-organised yard environment.
- Good level of education, including an understanding of both written and verbal English
- Previous Warehouse experience
- Good awareness of manual handling techniques
- MHE licences preferred, including FLT and Reach truck
- Awareness and understanding of abnormal/large products If you're reliable, safety-conscious and enjoy working outdoors as part of a close-knit team, you'll thrive in this role. Experience with MHE is beneficial, but a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are equally important. We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse/Yard Operative at our Findern, Derby site (DE65 6BG). The salary for this role is £30,202.81 based on a shift pattern of 09:00-17:30, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be working as part of a busy team within the warehouse and transport yard unloading trucks, putting away stock and participating in general yard duties. The role includes long periods of working outdoors, including winter time. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position, offering the chance to work with a supportive team and play a key part in keeping our operation running smoothly and safely.,
