Full Job Description
You'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring productivity, safety and service standards are achieved. From coaching and developing colleagues to driving continuous improvement and operational excellence, you'll help create an environment where everyone can perform at their best. What you'll be doing
- Leading, coaching and developing a warehouse team to achieve operational targets.
- Monitoring performance and using KPI data to drive continuous improvement.
- Allocating workloads to drive productivity and ensure service targets are achieved.
- Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
- Managing recruitment, absence, performance, conduct and team development.
- Leading team briefings and communicating key business updates.
- Investigating operational issues and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Working closely with Warehouse, Transport and Operational teams to deliver excellent service.
- Managing resources, equipment and warehouse assets effectively.
