Warehouse Team Manager

The job holder will ensure the smooth management of the warehouse operation, with responsibility for the delivery of cost, service, compliance, people KPIs - in line with company and legal standards and requirements. Responsibility for the warehouse day shift with a support and deputy role for Warehouse Logistics Manager as required. + Optimise labour and resources to deliver productivity and cost targets + Ensure accurate, high-quality inbound goods and investigate stock variances + Deliver operational plans (daily/weekly/monthly) to meet customer and business needs + Maintain strong communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams + Drive operational improvements, including layout changes and performance optimisation + Ensure full compliance with quality, legal, and Health & Safety standards, including audits + Manage, develop, and train team members while addressing performance and people issues + Lead by example-creating a safe, positive environment and continuously improving operations

+ Experience in a management role within a fast moving and changing work environment such as FMCG or logistics + Experienced in managing, developing, and inspiring teams + Management Qualification - desirable + IOSH Managing Safely - desirable + Proficient in MS Office Suite - essential + TM CPC - desirable
