About the Role
As a Relief Team Leader, you'll support the wider leadership team to ensure the warehouse operates safely, efficiently, and productively. You'll play a hands-on role in leading, coaching, and motivating colleagues while supporting the achievement of operational KPIs, service levels, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You'll also gain exposure to broader leadership responsibilities by deputising for Team Leaders when required, making this an ideal role for someone looking to progress their management career.

Support Team Leaders in the day-to-day management of operational teams.
Lead, coach, and develop colleagues to achieve high performance.
Monitor productivity, quality, and operational KPI performance.
Promote and champion a strong health and safety culture.
Support accident, incident, and near-miss investigations.
Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures and WMS processes.
Assist with training plans, appraisals, and employee development.
Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
Deputise for Team Leaders when required.
Essential
Experience leading or supervising teams within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
Experience working within a WMS-controlled warehouse.
Good understanding of health and safety practices.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
A proactive and hands-on approach to leadership.
Desirable
Experience using Manhattan WMS or similar warehouse management systems.
What You'll Bring
Natural leadership qualities and the ability to motivate others.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to embrace change.
High levels of integrity, resilience, and accountability.
The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
As part of one of the UK's largest business supplies and services distributors, you'll join a business that values development, innovation, and operational excellence. You'll have the opportunity to build your leadership skills while contributing to a high-performing warehouse operation.
