Shift Patterns & Pay

06:00–14:00: £12.71ph (Mon–Fri) | £13.57ph (Sat) | £21.12ph (Sun/Bank Holidays)
14:00-22:00: £13.42ph (Mon–Fri) | £16.28ph (Sat) | £21.12ph (Sun/Bank Holidays)
22:00-06:00: £14.52ph (Sun-Friday) | £21.12ph (Sat/Bank Holidays)

Pertemps Reading are recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a leading logistics and distribution operation in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with immediate starts, full training and genuine long-term opportunities.

Please note: All successful candidates must pass a Drug & Alcohol test as part of the induction process.

The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for:
  • Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Moving stock throughout the warehouse using pallet trucks (full training provided).
  • Receiving, checking and putting away incoming goods.
  • Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring accurate labelling.
  • Breaking down cardboard and operating the baler.
  • Carrying out stock checks and general warehouse duties.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
  • Following all health and safety procedures while working to quality and productivity standards.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous warehouse experience is desirable.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
