Warehouse Equipment Specialist

To work in the yard & Stores, carrying out activities on behalf of the company on a day to day basis, ensuring that works are undertaken in a safe and efficient manner.

Assistance with goods in & out; checking certification of equipment; checking of returned equipment including maintenance; loading and unloading wagons/lorries; return equipment to racking and shelving; completing picking list generated by warehouse management system (outside stock), help emptying any finished projects returning in vans or containers.

Cleaning out any plant & vehicles returned from site, including Welfare vehicles.

Count any materials returned to the yard; this will be added into our stocktake system Via stores manager.

Maintain high standards of discipline and general yard tidiness, including compliance with general and specific site rules.

Maintain high standards of personal conduct in all work-related actions.

Maintain a positive attitude and ability to be flexible in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Be comfortable bringing ideas, recommendations, and concerns to management. Always comply with the company's health and safety procedures.

Previous yard and/or warehouse work advantageous.

Good knowledge of hand and power tools, rope access, PPE, general warehouse experience etc…
