Warehouse Despatch Operative – PPT Driver

Shift Pattern: Rotating Monday to Friday and Sunday to Thursday
 
Working Hours: 15:00–23:00

Pay between £13.54-18.00 p/h

We are currently recruiting an experienced Warehouse Despatch Operative to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse operation.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a warehouse despatch environment, be confident operating a PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) and have a good understanding of warehouse procedures and despatch operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and processing customer orders for despatch.
  
  
• Operating a PPT safely and efficiently.
  
  
• Loading and moving stock within the warehouse.
  
  
• Ensuring orders are picked, packed and despatched accurately.
  
  
• Checking paperwork and ensuring all goods are correctly labelled.
  
  
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  
  
• Working efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines.
  
  

Skills & Experience:

• Previous warehouse despatch experience is essential.
  
  
• Previous experience operating a PPT is required.
  
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  
  
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  
  
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
