Full Job Description

Join our superb team of volunteers!
We know just how much our wonderful volunteers can improve a patient's experience here at Addenbrooke's or the Rosie hospitals.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who have a caring attitude and a commitment to supporting the Trust's Values, Together - Safe, Kind, Excellent.
We understand that it can be an anxious time for patients when they are spending time on a hospital ward so we are looking to expand our team of ward volunteers to be a friendly face who can spend some time with patients and help improve their time in hospital.
As per Home Office guidelines, please be aware that, unfortunately, the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular position.
Please note, this role is volunteering., All our volunteers help to improve the experience of our patients and visitors and support staff. As a ward volunteer you will be socially interacting with patients, assisting serving food and drinks at meal times and handing out activity packs to patients that would like one. You may also assist with other tasks such as getting patients something they might need from the shops in the hospital.
All our volunteers make a real difference.
