Ward Nurse (Surgical / Orthopaedic)

As a Ward Nurse (Surgical/Orthopaedic) at Spire Bristol Hospital, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical and orthopaedic procedures. You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure that each patient receives personalised care and support throughout their hospital stay.
Located in the picturesque area of Redland Hill, Durdham Down, Bristol, our hospital offers a peaceful and tranquil setting for both patients and staff. With modern facilities and a supportive work environment, Spire Bristol Hospital is the ideal place to further your nursing career.
Your role will involve working night shifts from 20:30 to 07:30, starting on the 30th of September and ending on the 1st of October 2026. For each shift, you will receive a competitive payment rate of £316, ensuring that your hard work and dedication are recognised and rewarded.
As a Ward Nurse (Surgical/Orthopaedic) at Spire Bristol Hospital, you will play a crucial role in the recovery and wellbeing of our patients. Your duties will include monitoring vital signs, administering medication, assisting with personal care tasks, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
In addition to direct patient care, you will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, liaising with other healthcare professionals, and ensuring that the ward environment is safe, clean, and well-organised at all times.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a valid nursing qualification and current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Previous experience in surgical and orthopaedic nursing is desirable, but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
