Ward Nurse

Welcome to an exciting opportunity to join the team at Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital as a Ward Nurse in the Surgical/Orthopaedic department. This is a temporary position starting on 21st April 2026, with a shift from 07:00 to 14:00, offering a competitive payment rate of £189 per shift.
As a Ward Nurse in this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical and orthopaedic procedures. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care tailored to each patient's individual needs. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring effective coordination of care.
