Ward Nurse

As a Ward Nurse in the surgical/orthopaedic department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients before, during, and after their surgeries. You will work closely with the surgical team to ensure that each patient receives personalised care tailored to their individual needs. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing patients for surgery by ensuring they are comfortable and informed about the procedure
• Assisting the surgical team during procedures and providing support to patients during their recovery
• Monitoring patients' vital signs and overall condition, reporting any changes to the medical team
• Administering medication and treatments as prescribed by the medical team
• Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families throughout the surgical process
