Full Job Description

The post holder will have delegated responsibilities and will work with the Matron in delivering nursing services to agreed quality standards, in accordance with agreed activity levels, within budget, and in line with the BCUHB Nursing Policies and Procedures and NMC Code of Practice, professional standards and guidance.

We are keen to hear from applicants who are dynamic, flexible and self-motivated in providing excellent patient care whilst developing a work force fit for the future. We are looking for experienced, proactive, enthusiastic and caring individuals, who will enjoy working in these demanding and rapidly changing environments. .You will be a clinically advanced in critical care through extensive and recent clinical experience.

Working in a similar clinical environment at a Band 6 or above and have proven management, communication and leadership skills. You must be able to provide evidence of continuous professional development.

Individuals must be able to work without direct supervision and be able to work flexibly using their own initiative. Ideally, you will have a specialist course in Critical Care (or relevant critical care nursing experience) as well as a recognised degree in Nursing (or equivalent) is desirable.
