As a Ward Manager at our hospital, you're a qualified RGN with NMC registration and a mentorship qualification. You've already worked as a Junior Sister / Charge Nurse or Ward Manager. Either way, you hold considerable nursing management experience and you're organised, highly motivated and engaged.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day running of our ward department


• Lead a team of highly qualified nurses

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital provides high-quality healthcare working with leading Consultants to offer a range of services and treatments for preventing, diagnosing, and treating a wide array of medical conditions, including complex surgeries. We are proud to have received a "good" rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Our facilities include 49 en-suite patient bedrooms, 4 operating theatres, acute dependency and oncology units. We have received the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark for cancer care, and our Endoscopy service has achieved JAG accreditation. The site is shared with an NHS Trust hospital, providing access to additional facilities. The working atmosphere is highly professional, stimulating, friendly, and collaborative, resembling a large family unit.

The hospital is easily accessible from the A3 or M25 and located about 1.5 miles from Guildford town centre.
