Full Job Description
- Deliver a high-quality food and catering service to patients and staff.
- Prepare and assemble patient meals accurately, ensuring special dietary requirements are met.
- Present and serve meals in a professional, friendly, and hygienic manner.
- Carry out food temperature checks and complete required quality and safety records.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across ward kitchens, catering areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Support stock control activities, including stock rotation and waste monitoring.
- Safely transport food trolleys and assist with meal service throughout the hospital.
- Follow all food safety, health & safety, safeguarding, and company policies to ensure a safe environment for patients and colleagues.
Previous experience in a similar role - A positive attitude and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong attendance record.
- The ability to work efficiently as part of a team and independently when required.
- A willingness to learn and follow procedures, training, and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when preparing meals and completing records.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
