Ward Host

As a Ward Host, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and comfortable environment for our patients. You will support meal service, assist with dietary requirements, and ensure patients feel cared for throughout their stay.,

• Provide menus, take meal orders, and assist with dietary and allergen-related queries.
• Work closely with ward and catering staff to prepare and deliver meals and beverages.
• Maintain high food hygiene standards and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Record food temperatures and follow food safety procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide excellent patient care., Take reassurance from knowing that your interviewer can often be as nervous as you. Be polite, honest and open, maintaining eye contact with them. Talk as clearly and confidently as you can and if you don't understand a question, ask for clarification. When answering, focus on positive experiences and be prepared to go into detail about your previous positions and your future aspirations.

• Experience in food service or hospitality is desirable but not essential.
