Full Job Description
Richard Ticehurst SAU is a busy 30 bedded surgical admissions unit which also incorporates a SSDEC (same day assessment area) and is aligned to a SACC (same day ambulatory clinic) We are looking for an enthusiastic, polite and professional person to join our team, as a ward clerk. The team on the Unit is both friendly and supportive, with a strong commitment to providing a high standard of care. Full time hours with some weekend working. Duties will include, admitting and discharging patients, answering the telephone, maintaining clinic bookings, filing, working alongside the MDT
- A good communicator and enjoy meeting people.
- Possess a polite and caring manner.
- Have a good sense of humour.
- Able to prioritise own workload.
- If you are computer literate, PAS/IFIT/Evolve/ Nervecentre Keyboard skills an advantage, but training will be given
