Ward Clerk - Copthorne

The urology ward clerk for Buckland ward provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the inpatient urology unit, ensuring efficient co-ordination of patient services across a 24-hour service. This role is central to maintaining accurate patient records, facilitating communication between MDT, and supporting the smooth operation of the ward.

Working closely, with nursing staff, physicians, allied health professionals and hospital departments, the ward clerk ensures timely processing of admissions, discharges, transfers and clinical documentation while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies.

We provide emergency and non-emergency services to the residents of East Surrey, North-East West Sussex, and South Croydon, including the major towns of Crawley, Horsham, Reigate and Redhill; a community of over 535,000 people. We provide acute and complex services and a range of outpatient, diagnostic services whilst Crawley Hospital and Horsham in West Sussex and Caterham Dene Hospital and Oxted Health Centre in Surrey provide less complex planned services.
