Ward Clerk

We are responsible for Paediatric inpatients, Paediatric surgical day case, Paediatric assessment unit and Paediatric HDU., You will also be responsible for management of patient records, help facilitate admissions and discharges.

You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week and have excellent customer service skills and be familiar with the ward environment and etiquette. You also must have excellent communication skills and be able to prioritise your own workload and work within the multidisciplinary team.

As you are the first face that the visitors will see on arrival you must have a polite and courteous disposition.

You will also require to have good computer skills as you will be using the trust's digital systems such as patient management.
