Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time ward clerk to join the Same Day Emergency Care team at Harrogate Hospital for an 12 month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will work 2 days a week (covering a 7 day service). We are looking for someone who can cope well within a rapidly changing environment, who can multi-task and who can handle the often challenging demands of a busy department. Main duties of the job The post holder will:
- Liaise with patients and their family.
- Have an excellent telephone manner
- Will assist all members of the MDT to perform their roles to the best of their ability.
- Maintain electronic patient records.

- 3 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at grade C or above.
- NHS experience.
- Previous administrative experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience and competence with patient systems.
- Appropriate use of AI use in application. Desirable
