An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the ward clerk team at Northampton Dialysis Unit. You will be working to support the ward staff and multidisciplinary team in the administrative and clerical processes and procedures associated with the running of a clinical service in support of excellent care for patients and their careers.,

• Be the first point of contact for staff, visitors and callers, respond to enquiries as appropriate and answering and directing calls.
  
  Ensure messages are passed on to the relevant staff.
• To be able to organise time effectively, to work well independently and as part of the team
• The post holder should be able to communicate effectively with a variety of people remaining courteous at all times, especially when dealing with patients & relatives.
• To be able to remain calm under pressure.
• The post holder must be an excellent team player who works closely with colleagues to deliver a smooth sufficient service.
• To book and coordinate the out-patient transport for patients on a daily basis, lease with transport providers to ensure a smooth service for patients.
