Ward Administrator

To provide administrative support for the ward and provide a safe, welcoming, courteous and efficient reception service to accommodate the needs of patients, relatives, consultants and nursing staff. Duties will include, welcoming, admitting and discharging patients, answering the telephone and communicating information to staff, filing medical records, booking appointments, and data entry.

• Good general knowledge and GCSE level C/4 or equivalent in Maths and English
• Good keyboard and computer skills.
Desirable criteria:
• Previous experience working in a health care setting.
• Experience of IT skills such as PAS/IFIT/Evolve/ Nervecentre
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Customer service experience.
• Experience of working as part of a team.
