Full Job Description
To organise and facilitate the evening running of the therapeutic community in a residential.
- To co-ordinate the service users' tasks and activities.
- To provide waking night cover, ensuring that risk is monitored and minimised.
- To organize and facilitate the residents in preparing for the daily programme and activities.
- To monitor and administer medication to service users.
An understanding of the complex issues presented by individuals within drug and alcohol recovery.
- The ability to be innovative and be flexible to meet the needs of the service.
- Be able to work effectively with multi-agencies, whilst maintaining the excellent reputation of the service.
Previous experience is desirable, however not essential. Night Support Workers come from many different backgrounds and experiences, and you may have the skills required. We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity to join the Phoenix Futures team as a Night Support Worker at our new and innovative Trauma Responsive Women's Therapeutic Community Residential Service, Ophelia House, Yarnton., Phoenix Futures Group is a charity with over 50 years' experience and a leading provider of drug and alcohol treatment.

We provide a diverse range of services, our expertise in psychosocial treatment and support is the common thread that runs through everything we do. People need psychological interventions, social support, meaningful use of time, sense of purpose and a place of safety to sustain their recovery. At our core, we support people, families and communities to recover from drug and alcohol dependency.
This is a full-time role working averaging 37.5 hours per week. You will be expected to work a 4-week rolling night shift.
